Risk of rain 2 modded multiplayer not working.
Open Steam, navigate to your Library and right-click the Risk of Rain entry to choose Play Game. After the game launches in a window and the Main Menu opens, click on Options. In the Options screen, click on Audio and video. Next to the V-Sync option, click the Off entry to change it to On and you should no longer experience the black screen!
Bought the game and tried to join multiplayer. joined my friend's lobby and then he started the game. it went to black screen and was stuck there for a good 4 minutes. also i coundnt pick any the other character. #1. am having the issue of it will not start a match up. flat out tells me to get bent and nothing, countdown goes to 0, and stays there, no change at all. solo just does not launch a game. I'd open a new discussion about that, this one is 3 years old so the info may be dated and there is probably a better solution

One exception that I found was the Command Artifact mod, which actually did sorta work but it made the leader of the lobby choose the item whenever a chest was opened (instead of whoever opened the chest), so it kinda ruined the idea. It also seems to happen more often the less time that has passed. This happens in unmodded as well as modded lobbies. Mods I use: BepInExPack, HookGenPatcher, R2API, risk of options, aerolt, empty chests be gone, better ui, item exchange notifier, zio cofig file, zio risk of options, better command menu, command queue and unmodded version.
